If you’re a foreign national, you know that a real estate investment in the world’s largest economy is a solid move. Compared to its counterparts in Western Europe and Japan, the U.S. population is expected to continue to grow substantially over the next 50 years. This, of course, will create supply/demand conditions favorable to investors. In addition, baby boomers and foreign nationals continue to contribute to demand by purchasing second homes in warm or mountainous locales, such as Texas, Florida, and Colorado, sending property values higher.
Conversely, U.S. baby boomers will contribute to international real estate markets because of some of the same conditions.
